Product Preview Take Home Project Instructions

Hi Everyone,

My posting of the Take Home Project Instructions for last weeks Kaisercraft Product Preview has been somewhat tardy - but I think if you call into the shop and see the line up of classes for next week's festival and the INSANE amount of new stock we have had come into the store you will forgive us for being otherwise occupied. Blog post to come about the new products...

Kaisercraft Wooden Journal or Photo mount frames
  1. Paint the edges or back of the wooden mounts with acrylic paint. We used brown but you could use cream, blue or olive successfully too.
  2. Rub the surface of the wood with glue stick and adhere the dot paper to one mount and the design paper to the other. Trim along the edges with a craft knife or scalpel. Cut through the patterned paper to reveal the ribbon slots.
  3. Cut a square or rectangle of blue patterned paper to fit in the center of the mounts and trim with a corner rounder.
  4. Mat the blue patterned paper with brown cardstock and trim the corners with a corner rounder.
  5. Cut the ribbon into four pieces and thread through the mount slots. Stitch a X as a decorative fastener.
  6. Embellish the frames with a flourish, flower and brads.
